Auch da geht es schließlich darum, intelligente neue Ansätze zu finden, um sich gegen Angriffe von außen zu wehren.

Hoher Besuch an der TU Darmstadt: Bundeskanzlerin Dr. Angela Merkel war heute zu Gast auf dem Campus Stadtmitte. Merkel, der hessische Ministerpräsident Volker Bouffier und der hessische Wissenschaftsminister Boris Rhein tauschten sich mit TU-Präsident Professor Hans Jürgen Prömel sowie weiteren Vertreterinnen und Vertretern der TU über Chancen der Digitalisierung für den Menschen aus.

Am 20. und 21. September kamen rund 180 Teilnehmer aus 17 Ländern zum Auftaktsymposium des neu gegründeten “Center for Secure Distributed Ledgers and Contracts” in Darmstadt. Neben Industriepartnern wie Bosch wird das Zentrum auch von der Ethereum Foundation gefördert.
