Dr Jaqueline Brendel (Manager CROSSING) and Julius Moritz Hardt (Student Assistant in the research group Cryptography and Complexity Theory of CROSSING speaker Marc Fischlin) received the award of the student council of the Computer Science department for the best exercise in the winter semester 2023/24.
The student council presented the award for the exercise “Public Key Infrastrukturen” on Thursday, 20 June 2024, during the summer colloquium of the Department of Computer Science. The course evaluation is based on students' feedback as part of a voluntary online course evaluation.
A research group related to the Collaborative Research Centre CROSSING was also successful the previous year. Prof Thomas Schneider and his ENCRYPTO team received the award for the best exercise in the summer semester 2023 for their exercise “Cryptographic Protocols” in December 2023.
