Abstract
Over the last few year, a new scaling paradigm for block chains has developed: Rollups (either optimistic or using validity proofs) can compress execution, but need on-chain data to be safe. Through the combination of data sharding and data availability sampling, data availability can be scaled in a secure and decentralized way.
