Abstract

Observable stochasticity and response are fundamental properties of quantum systems which determine their (systems') behavior in real macroscopic experiments. Of the multitude of topics covered by the title of the talk, two will be reviewed: quantum-electrodynamical approach to macroscopic quantum measurement theory, and classical stochastic simulation of atoms and molecules in strong laser fields.
